As a Fullerton resident in District 4, I support the reappointment of Director Adan Ortega to the MWDSC Board. Considering his 30 years in service to the the public on water issues, at a local and statewide level, and also his time having worked at MWD, I see no reason to remove him from his position, especially if someone else is appointed with less of his qualifications. He serves Fullerton well with his institutional knowledge. A change at this time seems highly politically motivated.
